Design Walk 2010 is over.
On a rainy day, we walked through most of the design studios that were participating in this year’s Design Walk, with mixed feelings about what was good and what wasn’t. A contradiction in a way, as this year’s subject that was presented from different design teams in their spaces in Psiri, Athens.
Good or bad, it surely does not matter. The lack of communication from most of the studios, was my biggest disappointment as only a couple of people approached us and tried to talk about their work and themselves.
In any way, I think Design Walk was good. I really hope to see it growing and becoming a celebration of people and design; a place were creatives share ideas and thoughts about their work.
See you next year!
I am already in love with this A2 weekly calendar designed by The Chase for FontShop.
Now, how do I get my hands on one of these?

A walk in Athens.
Today we went on a beautiful architectural walk organised by a small team of individuals. Really inspiring and informative, on a perfect day for a wonder. All I can say is we really felt like being somewhere else, maybe a place in the past or maybe somewhere completely different than everyday reality.
Next one should be in a month or so; I shall let you know!
