GRAFIK ceases printing for 2nd time
The editorial team of Grafik is sad to announce that Grafik magazine is to stop being published. For the last year we have been creating the editorial for Grafik, working with publisher Design Flux, which prints and distributes the magazine. However, Design Flux has made the decision to cease publication of Grafik after the current issue, G193.
If you are a subscriber you should have received a letter from Design Flux regarding your subscription, which it manages. The Grafik editorial team will be taking a short break, but keep your eyes peeled for more from us all in the New Year. We’ll be back with something new and exciting in 2012. Meanwhile, we would like to say a massive thank you to all our readers, subscribers and contributors over the years. We have had an amazing ride with Grafik over the last decade and look forward to new adventures next year…
You will be missed.

Universal Everything Reel 2011.
Best.
Freddie Carabott
1924 - 2011
A sad day today finding out about the death of another master of his craft. Freddie Carabott, lived and worked in Greece being a member of K&K (Freddie Carabott, Michalis & Agni Katzourakis).
He inspired us all and will continue doing so for the generations to come.
The Gridnik.
(for my greek speaking friends, there is an article I posted here. Have a look).
The Kitchen Films.
from the fantastic portfolio of Ruiz+Company from Spain.
Timba Smits
is an award winning Melbourne born / London based graphic designer, artist, illustrator, independent publisher, self confessed magazine addict and wannabe olympic ping-pong playa. He is also the worlds tallest ninja (in his dreams) and has a proper love of all things retro and kitsch.
Truly fantastic work.

Design Museum Membership by Spin.
Another excellent example of work from Spin for the Design Museum Membership Schemes.
Ben Bros.
It’s great to discover the work of Ben Bros. When reading at AisleOne about him being on the same school with Wim Crouwel and working with him at Total Design, it all made sense.
He studied with Wim Crouwel at the Amsterdam Graphic College, and later went on to work with him at Total Design. He’s compiled an extraordinary body of work.
