The NounProject.
The Noun Project collects, organizes and adds to the highly recognizable symbols that form the world’s visual language, so we may share them in a fun and meaningful way.
Great. Great. Great.
Nordstrom Rack Iconography.
Great icons from Zeus Jones. Wish I had these for inspiration when I needed them!
See more here.
They are everywhere and getting more and more popular day by day. The VIPs are Very Important Pixels and so far there are already a good number of famous people there. Can’t wait for the future updates!
The city of Melburne has a new identity build from Landor Associates in Sydney. I really liked all the brand and the resulting simplicity of the project all coming from a quite complicated process and concept.
Don’t really know if I like the idea of a city’s branding but I guess our times demand it and it is a trend that will likely stay forever. In any way, results like these should be supported and should be seen more often!
You can read and see more about the identity on Landor Associates’ website and judge for yourselves.

If you are a big Helvetica fan, you should consider visiting Helveticons and find a large set of Royalty-free vector icons, glyphs and symbols based on the Helvetica Bold typeface.
There is a free vector pack for you mac folder icons that I have already installed and seems pretty… helveticised!
Tip: If you have never replaced the system icons before, it is pretty easy. As found on MacApper , all you have to do is Open the Get Info window for the RSRC icon, click on the miniature icon in the top left and press Command C (copy). Then, go to the drive or folder that you want the icon to be on, open the Get Info window, click on the mini-icon and press Command V (paste). Now you should have a perfect custom icon.
Enjoy!
